  • Auditions for the Fall Play: The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza (Olympee-uh-ganza) are August 28th after school in the auditorium. No experience needed- everyone is welcome! See Clark for more info.
  • Any students interested in joining our wrestling program: We will have a brief meeting Wednesday, the 27th after school in the wrestling room. We will start Open Mats Wednesday, September 3rd after school. Open Mats are welcome to any USD250 Student 7-12th grades with a physical on file. For any questions please reach out to Coach LC Davis
  • Love helping others? Want to make a difference in your school and community? Looking for a way to meet new friends? JOIN KEY CLUB! Key Club will be having its first meeting on Wednesday, August 27th, in the Collaboration Room during Study Hall. During this meeting, you will meet this year's officers, learn about Key Club and find out about upcoming community service events for members. Returning members will have a pass sent to their study hall classroom on the day of the meeting. New and any interested members will need to stop by Ms. Thomas' office in the Counseling Center to get a pass. See you there!
  • Come one come all. Join us for D&D and RPG club! Our first meeting will be Thursday the 28th right after school in the cafeteria. This will be our 9th year and let's make it a great one. Our first meeting will go over ground rules and expectations. Can't wait to see you all there!
  • The First PHS Republican Club Meeting of the year will be Wednesday, August 27th during study hall in Dr. Foster's Room (316).
  • There will be a National Honor Society meeting for current members on Tuesday, August 26, at 7:30 a.m. and again at 3:30 p.m. Please attend one of these meetings. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Wolgamott, Room 325.
  • FCA will meet Tuesday August 26 during Study Hall in the Collaboration Room. See Coach Yockey for a pass.

This is McKenna’s second year on staff and is a co-editor-in-chief along side Joseph and Elle. Whenever she’s not busy writing stories for the newspaper and tweaking the website, she’s probably at work or hanging out with friends. Outside of newspaper she’s involved in yearbook.

On Oct. 28, teacher Amber Kloster organized a field trip to Ol' Yale Pumpkin Patch for students k-12 who have documented disabilities. Freshman Logan Johnson pumps water for the rubber duck race. According to Logan's brother, senior Jorden Johnson, Logan likes to make people laugh. "Logan is a one-of-a-kind kid," Jorden said. "He's really funny and tries to help anyone he can."
