Powerlifters compete in 5A state meet

Saturday, February 29th was the 2020 Kansas 5A State Powerlifting Meet hosted at Pittsburg High School. Here are the following results:

In the 114-pound division, Jason Campbell placed first all-around with an overall lift total of 720 pounds and Camron Jefferson placed third with a total of 440 pounds. 

In the 123-pound division, Seth Gann placed third overall with a total of 570 pounds.

In the 132-pound division, Minwoo Lee placed second overall with a total of 765 pounds. 

In the 156-pound division, Dennis Heikes placed first overall with a total of 930 pounds.

In the 181-pound division, Ethan Weidert placed first all-around with an overall lift total of 1,050 pounds.

In the 198-pound division, Shay Mahnken placed first overall with a total of 1,090 pounds and Caiden Barber placed second with a total of 970 pounds.

In the 220-pound division, Aaron Woods placed first overall with a total of 1,130 pounds.

In the 242-pound division, Sam Herring placed first overall with a total of 1,085 pounds.

Overall Pittsburg won with 88 points while Kapaun Mt.Carmel placed second with 60 points and Goddard placed third with 49 points.
