Junior Townes Sullivan and Senior Jocelyn Ouellette play Gleb Vaganov and Anya for the PHS spring show Anastasia. "I played Gleb, and my favorite part is the challenge it provided me," Sullivan said. "It is hard to play someone conflicted, and I enjoy a challenging character. I love being in PHS Theater. There are many factors why, but the highest and most important one is the people."

Fighting for control, Senior DeMarus Partee secures his hold on his opponent during an intense match up fighting for the win in the quarter finals at the Kansas State Wrestling Championship on Feb 27. “Since I wrestled him before, I knew the energy he gave out, giving me extra confidence to claim the win,” said Partee. “But I knew I needed to keep my focus on what needs to be done and making sure it is done correctly”.

Freshman Stephanie Bonilla, Senior Mya Anthony, Senior Jonathan Sipaque de Leon, and Sophomore Angeline Bautista are volunteering at the Pittsburg Public Library for the volunteens program on Sept. 23, 2025. They're putting together kits for the upcoming youth projects and programs.

Pittsburg Theatre is Livin' It Up on Top with the teen addition of Hadestown at Memorial Auditoruim on Nov. 20. For the first time, Troupe 3149 had two separate casts. "So I essentially had to learn one half of the show, then the other half of the show through ensemble and then Hades," Junior Townes Sullivan stated. "Which is difficult, but at the same time it's preparing you for what would happen in a real life Broadway situation."
